“Read Across America” – Mar. 2nd

March is National Reading Month and March 2nd is Read Across America Day (Dr. Seuss’s Birthday). In honor of these two events, we are combining them into a week long celebration of reading here at FES. Since his birthday is on a Saturday this year, we will celebrate the week after – Mar. 4th – Mar. 8th. Students will have the opportunity to participate in activities throughout the week:

 March 11th – March 15th Scholastic Bookfair

 March 4th – Monday – Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day – Dress like twins with your bestie!

 March 5th – Tuesday – Wear Green for Green Eggs and Ham Day.

 March 6th - Wednesday – Wear your favorite hat for Cat in the Hat Day AND wear your wacky socks for The Fox in Socks Day

 March 7th – Thursday – Dress up as your favorite book character!!

 March 8th – Friday – Wear Pajamas for a comfy day of READING – Sleep Book Day!
