If your student will need bus transportation at the beginning of the school year and you're unsure whether a request has been submitted, please contact your child's school as soon as possible.

Alyssa Neel was honored as the Star3 Student at the RCSS board meeting on Monday. As you can see in the picture Alyssa always has a smile on her face. She has a positive energy that radiates throughout her classroom. She is a wonderful friend and example of what it means to be a Farmer student.

On Monday the Randolph County School System honored all Outstanding Employees. Mr. Shannon Davidson was voted the Farmer Outstanding Employee for the 2025-2026 school year.

Mr. Davidson's dedication to Farmer Elementary is seen on a daily basis. He constantly goes above and beyond to help our students and staff. We are lucky to count him part of the Farmer family.

One of Farmer's own is retiring soon! Ms. Donna Underwood was recognized at the recent Randolph County School System Retirement Banquet. Ms. Underwood has worked for RCSS for 25 years (21 years at Farmer) and is retiring at the end of this school year. We would like to thank Ms. Underwood for her dedicated service to the students at Farmer Elementary. You will be dearly missed but we hope you have wonderful adventures and enjoy all that retirement brings!

Today is School Lunch Hero day and we have two remarkable heroes at Farmer Elementary. Ms. Alice Davis and Ms. Donna Underwood work each day to ensure our students have a nutritious breakfast and lunch. They don't wear capes but they are superwomen in our book! Calling all 5th graders! SWRMS is holding a transition night on Thursday, April 30th at 5:30pm. All rising 6th grade parents and students are invited to SWRMS to learn more about middle school and what to expect next year. You will be able to meet SWRMS teachers and see the campus.

*5th Grade Parents - please note that this will take the place of 5th grade transition night activities at the Farmer Parent Night on May 21.

We have been celebrating some of our staff over the last few weeks.
