ATTENTION PARENTS & STUDENTS!!! Spring semester is underway, and end-of-year testing will be here before we know it. Please refer to this post for all of the important upcoming test dates at SWRHS this Spring.
In addition, 3rd quarter progress reports will be sent home with students on February 25th, 3rd quarter ends on March 28th, and 3rd quarter report cards will be given to students on April 7th. 4th quarter begins on March 31st and interims will be sent home on May 8th.

High school student-athletes from Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County School System were recognized this evening at the Randolph Sports Council Spring Banquet, held at Black Powder Smokehouse in Asheboro. The event featured guest speaker Mrs. Kathryn Simons, a member of the UNC-Chapel Hill Rowing Team and a proud alumna of Wheatmore High School, Class of 2014.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Randolph Sports Council for organizing this special event, and a heartfelt appreciation to all the Randolph Sports Council sponsors, including Black Powder Smokehouse for hosting the event.
Congratulations to all the honored student-athletes!
Baccalaureate service at Hopewell Friends Meeting on Sunday, June 8 at 7:00 pm. All graduates should report to the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 with their cap, gown and stole.
All faculty, seniors, and their families are invited to attend.
There will be a small reception after the service.

This morning, SWRHS awarded three staff members with our End-of-Year Recognitions. Congratulations to Brian Hodgin for being our Distinguished Educator and Kryste VanHoose for being our Outstanding Employee for the 2024-2025 school year. Congratulations to Josh Wood for being selected as the SWRHS Teacher of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year. We are so fortunate to have them and so many other amazing staff members at SWRHS!

March is National Nutrition Month - thank you RCSS School Nutrition Team!
There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.
The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
STUDENTS: If you are interested in pursuing a degree in law, law enforcement, or any similar path, consider attending this one-day seminar. Participants will receive 2 free meals, the option to attend mock law school classes, etc. Meet with representatives from all of the NC law schools and attend a career fair.
