Farmer held an awards assembly for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders last week. We celebrated success from Quarter 3. Awards were given for Perfect Attendance, A honor roll, A/B honor roll, Bringing Up Grades (B.U.G) and Citizenship. Congratulations to all of our Farmer students and their hard work!
Farmer 5th graders enjoyed a field trip to Brick Ed last week. They were able to spend a day engaging in STEM activities and having a blast!

Due to the forecast of severe weather for tomorrow, all schools in the RCSS will be closed tomorrow, Monday (3/16/26).
It was a fabulous Friday full of fun at Farmer today! From happy teachers enjoying their duty-free lunch provided by Ms. Cagle and Mrs. Robertson to happy fourth graders on their field trip to Raleigh! It's been a great day!

On Friday, February 27th Farmer Kindergarten students held a very special celebration. They held their Letterland celebration to show off that they have learned all of their letters and letter sounds.
Students dressed up as a character from Letterland and told the crowd what their letter sounds like.

Congratulations to Farmer's Star3 student, Gunnar Lanier, and Star employee, Mrs. Crystal Simpson, who were recognized at our February board meeting. We are so glad both of them are part of our Farmer family!
Farmer would like to recognize Brantlee Dorsey, who represented us so well at last week's District Spelling Bee. Brantlee was up against some stiff competition, but was a great competitor. Great job, Brantlee!
Farmer recently held a parent night with the theme of Science Makes Smart Cookies. 2nd and 3rd grade students sang several cookie themed songs and all classroom teachers had science themed activities in their classrooms.
A few lucky students even won giant cookie cakes when their parents completed a survey at the end of the night!
Parents, teachers and staff had a great evening and enjoyed eating a few cookies 🍪
February 12th was the 100th day of school and Farmer staff and students had a blast celebrating all the hard work they have done this year. Staff and students donned their best canes, pearls, curlers and white hair. Students also worked on math activities focused on the number 100.
Reaching the 100th day of school is an achievement and we are proud of all the progress our students have made this year!

February 9-13 is Love the Bus Week. This is the week that we celebrate our bus drivers and all they do for our school. They ensure students get to school daily, they take us on field trips and step up whenever help is needed. Their work is invaluable and does not go unnoticed.
