The RCSS will be closed 1/20/25 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather throughout the morning hours, all schools will be closed today (1/6/25). As a result of this decision, today (1/6/25) will become an optional teacher workday.

Due to concerns about road conditions in the early morning hours, the Randolph County School System will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday (1/6/25).

RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. Yesterday the WMS Chorus visited Hopewell for a performance. Today our students participated in our Sing-a-Long event. These two events definitely put our students in the holiday mood!

The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.


2 Hour Delay tomorrow 12/4/24


Beginning Thursday, December 5th we will be collecting items for the HES Giving Tree. All items collected will be donated to COAT (Community Outreach of Archdale-Trinity). Please turn in all items by Friday, December 20th. The following items are needed
Clothing:
Children's size packages of socks

Microwave cups of mac and cheese
Individual bags of crackers/cookies
Microwavable soup cups
Cup O Noodles
Crunchy cereal bars (ex. Nature Valley)
