Last week 3rd grade classes began their year of science by learning what a scientist is and how they can be scientists. The kids came up with a hypothesis on which method they thought would make “popcorn dance”. They used 3 different methods to test their hypothesis. They used baking soda and vinegar for method one, alka seltzer and water for method two, and just water for method three. Method one made the popcorn kernels bounce around the cup and rise to the top! Huge SHOUTOUT to Ms. Robinson for her fantastic and engaging science plans! 🐝 🥼🧪🐝
